The Gateway (model: NV55C03u) laptop features an Intel Pentium processor, a 15.6″ display and Microsoft Windows 7.

The CPU powering this laptop is the Intel Pentium P6100. This is a dual-core processor built on Intel’s Westmere microarchitecture. It has 3MB of L3 cache and each one runs at 2GHz. This CPU is built using a 32nm process and only uses 35W. Of course, it’s a 64-bit processor. This laptop comes with 3GB of DDR3 memory and can be expandable to 8GB.

The screen is a 15.6″ TFT-LCD high-definition widescreen display with Ultrbright technology from Gateway. It has a resolution of 1366×768 and native support for 72op HD content. The screen is driven by Mobile Intel HD Graphics with 64MB-1696MB dynamically allocated shared graphics memory. This is not the laptop you want, if you want to play today’s games at their highest resolutions.

For storage you get a 320GB Serial ATA (SATA) hard drive. This one rotates at 5400RPM which is the low end of things. The optical drive is a multiformat DVD±RW/CD-RW drive with double-layer support.
